Scheduling guidelines & rules:
1) Please validate your schedule as soon as possible. Notify us of mistakes only. Games were scheduled geographically and by some of your preferences. This was a very difficult process and we apologize in advance if your schedule is not ideal or against your preferences. Schedule changes cannot be considered at this time. If you need to change location or time for a game on your schedule, coordinate with the other coach.
2) For 1/2: We scheduled teams for fewer games and a later season start realizing that it will take a little extra time to get the 1/2 graders running in the right direction.
For 3/4, 5/6: We scheduled most teams for 7 games. There are a few teams that may have a BYE week due to an odd number of teams.
If you would like more games, all of the coach contacts are on our Team List page. Feel free to contact other coaches to
add games. Please email webmaster@rochesterlacrosse.org
so we can make our database be as up to date and accurate as possible.
3) There are 2 weeks that we have put games on the schedule for Saturday, Memorial Day weekend, and Fairport and Oswego Tournament weekend. It is up to the coaches to either play on the Saturday, reschedule for the week before or after the weekend, or cancel the game. If you like you can email me the changes & I will change the database.
4) It is the Home coaches responsibility to contact the Visiting coach at least 3 days prior to each game to confirm start time and field availability. This is especially important early in the season with the field conditions & weather. Failure of the Home coach to do this gives the right to the Visiting coach to hound the Home coach mercilessly until the game is confirmed.
